Happy Valentines Day everyone! Celebrating St. Valentine and love. We decided this year that instead of buying something, we'd make something out of "love". Mila, Remi & I made homemade playdough today and it was so much easier than I imagined. Plus, if you have kids in the house who love the stuff, you can save a little money and encourage them to use their hands and create something they are proud of. Have a beautiful day, give love and have fun!
Most playdough recipes call for cream of tartar. In case you don’t have cream of tarter, feel free to find our non-cream of tarter recipes on the sidebar.
Ingredients:2 cups of plain flour
2 cups of colored water (I think you can also use food grade glitter)
1 Tbsp. of cooking oil
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 cup of salt
Directions:
Place all of the ingredients in a medium size or large pan. Cook slowly on medium-high and stir it until the playdough thickens. If it's a bit sticky, you can add a little bit of flour to the mixture and knead it. This recipe takes less than 10 minutes.
